Thankful Sunday 1

“The unthankful heart discovers no mercies; but the thankful heart will find, in every hour, some heavenly blessings.” –Henry Ward Beecher

“Sometimes the little things in life mean the most.” –Ellen Hopkins

I want to take part in giving thanks every day in November, but I wasn’t really keen on the idea of doing a short post every day because some days it might literally be a sentence. I decided to do #Thankful Sunday. Each Sunday I will do a post that includes a week’s worth of giving thanks! 🙂 🙂

Thursday, November 1, 2018

Today, I am thankful for my beautiful little boys. Nikola and Sagan are my greatest little blessings. I am grateful that no matter what I might be dealing with one smile or hug from my little guys can brighten even my darkest days.

Today, I am thankful for a few stolen minutes of privacy with my husband. Alone time is rare some days when you have little ones around. Sometimes you have to be creative, but putting in the time, effort, and creativity shows that you think each other are worth it.

Today, I am thankful for the reminder that I have a foundation under my feet that will never crack. Jesus Christ is my rock and my strength.

Today, I am thankful for coffee!!! 🙂 🙂 It might sound silly to some, but today was the dreaded time change. Gain an hour!! HA! Not when you have kids. My boys were up and at it by 4:15 this morning! So, like I said, I am thankful for coffee!! 🙂

Thankful Sunday 2

What are you thankful for?

“In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18

  1. This is a great idea! I did a blog post on gratitude on 11-1-18 and one on joy today. Maybe I will include what I am thankful for within my next blog post. Happy Blogging!

    • Thank you! I think I might try to keep in up even after November in some copacity because it really is such a good thing to try to remember to stay thankful. 🙂
