I want to start off by sharing the news that I have taken on the 31-Day December Blog Challenge. I will have a new challenge each day that will help me to get out of my comfort blogging zone and strengthen my writing/blogging skills. I am super excited! I’m also a little nervous because I usually write only 2-3 blog posts a week, and with this challenge, I will have a blog post to write each day. However, December is a perfect month for me to take on this challenge because it is full of my favorite things and some of these topics sound amazing. Check out this link if you would like to learn more about the 31-Day Challenge and see what topics I have coming up for December. Wish me luck! <3 🙂 <3
Happy December, Everyone! It is one of my favorite times of the year. I am like a child again as soon as Fall hits. I have no idea which I would choose if I was asked to choose between Fall/Thanksgiving and Winter/Christmas. I love it all! The food, the decorations, the lights, the smells, the Christmas Tree, the cheesy Hallmark Christmas movies, the hot cocoa, the crackling fires, the boots, the clothes, the scarves…etc. <3 Awe…oops, I digress! 🙂 Lost in Winter Wonderland!
Today is December 1, which means it is day 1 of the 31-day blog challenge. Today, I am challenged to write about my blogging goals for December.
My Blogging Goals For December:
- Complete the 31-Day Challenge
This is the first blogging challenge I have taken on. I am so motivated to accomplish it! Plus, a lot of my blogger friends are doing it with me so this will be a lot of fun and I can’t wait to see their new content from this challenge.
- Get ahead by writing A LOT!
I would love to be able to write about 10 blog posts and get them scheduled. It would be great to have because I know that I will get busier the closer it gets to Christmas. To have some already scheduled and ready for those days would be a great relief.
- Get some pins and Instagrams stories scheduled on Tailwind.
This would be awesome. Ideally, it would be cool if I could have pins and stories scheduled for the last 2 weeks of December and then I wouldn’t have to worry about my Pinterest or IG accounts over the holidays.
- Get my #ThankfulSunday posts written or at least started for all of December.
- Get started brainstorming on a couple of new ideas that I have for my blog after the New Year.
I have a couple of weekly post ideas for after the New Year. I plan on doing a #MotivationalMonday post each Monday and #InspirationalWomenWednesday post each Wednesday.
- Do a little research on how to share recipes on my blog that aren’t my recipes. I want to make sure that I am doing it legally.
- Just continue to try and work on increasing my blog traffic by strengthening my social media accounts.
Well, I think this is a great start! I can’t wait to see what I get accomplished. My planner is definitely full. <3
See you tomorrow, friends! Happy Blogging! Happy December! Merry Christmas! 🙂
