This week God truly did show me the importance of being grateful for the “little” things. I have had the flu this week (never fun, but especially when you still have to function as Mom to a 5-year-old and 2 -year-old). I have learned that sometimes you have to be thankful for the little things, simply because they make the bigger things easier to deal with. My week of giving thanks. 🙂

Today, I am thankful for an “easier” day. It was nice to not feel as rushed as some Mondays feel. I’m not feeling really great today.

Today, I am thankful for how hard my husband works for his family. He put in an 18 hour day today. He really does work very hard for us.

Today, I am thankful for shots. I went to the doctor today and tested positive for the flu. 🙁 I am very grateful for the two shots I received, anything to get this Mama up and running at 100% again.

Today, I am thankful for Little Cesar’s Pizza. I am so grateful that I didn’t have to cook dinner. The flu still has me a little whooped, at the moment.

Today, I am thankful for not having to go to the school for Parent/Teacher Conferences. Nikola is doing so well that his teacher said she didn’t need to meet with me. Yay! Grateful he is doing so well and that I didn’t have to attend a meeting when I am still not feeling 100%. (But I am getting there!)

Today, I am thankful for being reminded that it is the little things that can truly make a difference. This was a long week, but little bits of blessings sprinkled throughout made it much more doable. <3
What are you thankful for?
