December 26 – Christmas Joy 2018
“Christmas doesn’t come from a store, maybe Christmas perhaps means a little bit more.” -Dr. Seuss, How the Grinch Stole Christmas
“What kind of Christmas present would Jesus ask Santa for?” -Salman Rushdie, Fury
“I will honor Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year.” -Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol
This year we got to go to Santa’s Village. The boys had a blast!
We started it off with some hot chocolate and watched “The Grinch” on a big screen that was set up next to the stables.
The boys got to go “sledding.” 🙂 Nikola was such a good big brother. He held on tight to Sagan and Sagan was waving the whole way down! ❤
We got to see some reindeer and Santa’s sleigh!!
The boys got to visit the Post Office at the North Pole and write a letter to Santa.
We visited Santa’s Workshop, saw Santa, and met THE GRINCH! Meeting The Grinch was my two-year-old’s favorite part! He liked The Grinch more than Santa! 🙂
We topped off the night with a hayride of lights!! ❤
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!! ❤ We watch the old claymation movies and make cookies for Santa. ❤
This year we made sugar cookies, chocolate chip cookies, and chocolate chip/caramel cookies. I had to stop myself on the chocolate chips cookies! 🙂
The boys couldn’t wait!! ❤
Then we decorated the sugar cookies…
Nikola and Sagan wrote thank you notes to Santa and we left out cookies and milk.
Santa!! Can’t wait until in the morning! The boys are going to be so excited!!! ❤
Christmas Morning! Santa!! Nikola bought me this snowflake necklace with his own money. ❤ He is such a loving boy. I am one proud Mama.
Christmas Lunch! I didn’t get many pictures today because we have been busy playing and spending time together as a family. No phones. No electronics. We had a wonderful Christmas.
Merry Christmas, My Friends!!! I hope you had a wonderfully, blessed day!!
“For unto us a child is born, unto us, a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” -Isaiah 9:6
