“The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity. The optimist sees opportunity in every difficulty.” -Winston Churchill
“Don’t let yesterday take up too much of today.” -Will Rogers
“Fall seven times and stand up eight.” -Japanese Proverb
Motivation is “the reason or reasons one has for acting or behaving in a particular way.” Welcome to my reasons. 🙂 I also want to extend an invite, if you would like to write a #motivationalmonday post I would love to feature you as my guest! ❤ Contact me through my contact page here or email me at email@example.com. I can’t wait to hear from you!
What Is Motivating Me This Week?
What Is In My Scripture Journal?
“In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.” Psalm 5:3
“Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.” 1 Timothy 6:12
“The LORD makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand.” Psalm 37:23-24
What Is On My Radio?
What will it be like when my pain is gone
And all the worries of this world just fade away?
What will it be like when You call my name
And that moment when I see You face to face?
I’m waiting my whole life to hear You say
Well done, well done
My good and faithful one
Welcome to the place where you belong
Well done, well done
My beloved child
You have run the race and now you’re home
Welcome to the place where you belong.
Be strong in the Lord and,
Never give up hope,
You’re going to do great things,
I already know,
God’s got His hand on you so,
Don’t live life in fear,
Forgive and forget,
But don’t forget why you’re here,
Take your time and pray,
These are the words I would say.
What Am I Reading?
I am so excited to introduce you to this new book. I have recently met a new blogger friend and she just published her first book with Amazon last week! 🙂 The book is titled SMART Reflections: A Reflective Goal-Setting Workbook For Educators.
Crystal has a love for life that I find contagious. I also feel a connection with her because she also taught elementary school. Check out Crystal’s blog here. You won’t be sorry.
What Am I Studying?
Today, I am starting a 7 day Bible study with a blogging friend of mine. We are using this website. It is full of great Bible studies ranging from 7 days to 21 days to how to read the Bible in a year. We will be doing the Better Together Through Hebrews Devotional.
“But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31
